Lee Woo-jin’s Career
In 2016, Woojin debuted as a member of the boy-group The East Light. He left promotions with the group to appear on Produce 101 Season 2. After the show was over and he was eliminated, he returned to his group to continue promotions with them.
In early October 2018, two members of The East Light made allegations of abuse, and filed a lawsuit against their agency, Media Line, that resulted in Media Line terminating the contracts of most of the members, including Lee Woo-jin, and the group has had no future since then.
Then, after joining Produce X 101, Lee Woo-jin debuted with a new group called TEEN TEEN, that consisted of other contestants in Produce X 101 that were in the same management agency, Maroo Entertainment.
