The preparations for the debut of Apple.B took a little over two years. The original plan included former Hello Venus member Yoon Jo and former short-haired member Yoo Jung, but both left GH Entertainment in 2016.
Debut With The Single Album WooChuChu

3YE (third eye) is a three-member girl group belonging to GH Entertainment, created from former members of Apple.B Yourim, Yuji, and Haeun. On May 21st, 2019, the group made its debut with 3YE 1st Digital Single DMT. 3YE (third eye), which deviates from the typical frame of the existing girl groups, draws their own colors with distinctive eyes and interpretations with different perspectives and interpretations of idol scenes.

3YE conducted an interview with Kcrush, one of America’s magazines that talk about K-Pop, K-Drama, artists, writers, beauty/fashion and more, which was released on October 21st, 2019. 3YE first introduced themselves one by one, starting with Ha-eun, “Hello, I am Ha-eun, the mood maker and youngest of the group. I’m 21 years old, and in charge of doing mid-range and deep, low vocals.” continued by Yu-ji, “Hello, my name is Yuji and I’m 22 years old, the charismatic leader and dancer of 3YE. I love watching movies and dramas alone, and enjoy shopping since I love clothes! I can dance, rap, act and I’m able to do a variety of entertainment as well ~ ” And finally Yourim, “Hello, this is Yourim, who has a chic visual and unpredictable charm! I may look cold on the outside but the truth is I’m really bright and laughing out loud. I’m also 22 years old.”
In this interview, Yu-ji also explained the meaning of their group’s name, “The name stands for ‘the third eye,’ so as to differentiate ourselves from other standardized groups. It could be interpreted that we’re totally different from the rest and we wanted to show a unique charm that only we’re able to emanate.”
When asked about the uniqueness of their group, Yuji said, “Each part of our songs has been produced differently and has an addictive chorus, with strong and dramatic music, only 3YE has those unique charms.” The three also expressed their hopes, plans, and goals for each of them, and expressed their gratitude to the fans, Ha-eun said, “We want to evolve and become a world-wide known group.
