Pre-debut Story As Produce 101 & MixNine Contestant
During 2016, Yunji has started to try her chance on survival television show Mnet Produce 101. She has been a trainee from Star Empire Entertainment and try her leap to this opportunity to debut. Yunji made it until the episode 5 of Produce 101 with ranked 84.
Later on in October 2017, Yunji is come back to try other opportunities in reality show MIXNINE, she made it to passed the audition. Yunji gets to in the reality show until episode 10 and gets ranked 26.
Her persistence and hard work brought her into her dream to debut, Star Empire finally making her debut with a girl group called ARIAZ in October 2019. Yunji gets revealed ad the fourth member on the teaser concept photo. Yunji announced and debuted on October 24, 2019, with the lead track Grand Opera.
The company Star Empire affiliated with label Rising Star Entertainment to make the girl group ARIAZ debut. Yunji and the five other members get their own official debut announcement in September.
ARIAZ itself has been through up to seven years of training. The company believer they will make a difference as rookie group.
The concept of ARIAZ itself is defining Unique voices (Aria) coming together to create one song and stage.” The members are including Yunji, Dawon, Sihyeon, Yeori, Hyokyung, and Jueun.
