In Mnet’s ‘High School Rapper 4’, which aired on February 26, 2021, the participants of ‘High School Rapper 4’ were drawn in a team search battle.
CIIPHER’s Tag introduced himself, saying, “I am a 19-year-old Tag from Rain Company.” Yeom Tae-gyun is preparing to debut as a member of the multinational idol group CIIPHER produced by South Korean singer Rain.
Yeom Tae-gyun said, “When I was able to promote as an idol, I thought a lot, “Can I show 100% of my style rap?” I applied because I thought ‘High School Rapper 4’ would be a good opportunity for my music.”

Tag wrote and composed the lyrics for “I Like You” and was 20 years old during their debut era. He is also a member that came from Thailand. “I moved to Thailand when I was young, and my father was very opposed to me when I said that I wanted to do music,” he said.
“So every time an entertainment audition (Korea) was held in Thailand, I secretly went to the audition thinking that I shouldn’t miss it. Little by little, I started getting involved in auditions, and as I got into contact with the company, my father changed his mind. After passing the final exam, I came to Korea alone,” CIIPHER’s Tag said about how he went to an audition.
CIIPHER’s Tag said that he also works as a producer by forming a producing team. He said, “I major in melody making, so when I make beats, I work with acquaintances of producers or with company composers. Working in such an environment makes it easier to compose songs, and I think I can express my opinions more comfortably. It is a good condition for making a song,” he said.
Although he came from overseas, he seem to have a good relationship with the members. “We get along really well. We don’t hate each other. Seeing that, I think the public will be able to approach it in a friendly way,” CIIPHER’s Tag said.
