In 2015, PIXY’s Dia appeared as a contestant on K-Pop Star Season 5 and made it to the 4th round but did not receive much attention. She is also known to have been on the same team as former Secret Number member Denise. In October 2016, PIXY’s Dia went through Bumblebee Practical Music Academy located in Changwon, and she was accepted as a trainee of FNC Entertainment. However, after dropping out of Cherry Bullet’s debut group, she left the company, met OlaT Entertainment, and started preparing to debut with Saetbyul.
