WINNER’s Mino started his career as an underground rapper, and was famously known with the stage name Huge Boy Mino. He wasn’t alone at that time, he was an underground rapper together with Block B’s Zico, Kyung, and P.O.
His Experience of Almost Debuting with Block B
After his experience of being an underground rapper, Mino had another opportunity, that is almost debuting with the boy band Block B. Mino was one of the former trainees of Stardom Entertainment, he used to train together with other members of Block B, but he decided to leave because of unknown reasons. Even though he left, his friendship with the other members of Block B still remains and they friends to this day.
And in 2012, Mino was privately recruited by YG Entertainment and has since been a member of WINNER.
