IZ*ONE is a girl group formed from a survival program just like IOI and Wanna One. They are formed from Produce 48 that is also broadcasted by Mnet, such as Produce 101 Season 1 and Produce 101 Season 2.
Unlike Produce 101, Produce 48 forms a group with a formation of 12 members, which are not only from Korea, but also from Japan. IZ*ONE made their debut on October 29th, 2018, with their first extended play Color*Iz, and then, made a debut in Japan on February 6th, 2019. IZ*ONE will promote for 2 years and 6 months. The group is currently managed by Off the Record Entertainment in South Korea and AKS in Japan.
