Meet the Multi-Talented Idol, Park Chanyeol
Park Chan-yeol (박찬열), better known as Chanyeol, is one of the multi-talented members from the famous boy-group in South Korea, EXO. He debuted in 2012 as the main rapper, vocalist, and visual of the group.
Everyone in Korea and many people outside Korea know who Chanyeol is. His popularity is unquestionable and whatever Chanyeol does immediately gets the public’s attention. One example of this is when Chanyeol releases a new single, he always gets a good response from netizens.
With singer Punch, Chanyeol once again made a song that went viral among the public. The song is Stay With Me, the original soundtrack of the 2016 hit drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin).

Stay With Me is the original soundtrack of the drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin). This song was composed and arranged by the South Korean indie band Rocoberry, while the lyrics were written by Lee Seung Joo. Rocoberry is a musical duo that consists of members Roco (vocalist, lyricist) and Conan (chorus, composer, lyricist).
On December 1, 2016, it was announced that Chanyeol and Punch would be releasing a single for a drama. Many people were waiting for this and had high expectations for the song. Perhaps unsurprisingly, when the music video was released on December 3, 2016, it hit one million views just in 24 hours.
According to Billboard and YouTube, the music video was the third most-watched around the world for December, 2016, and fifth most-watched music video for the first half of 2017. Stay With Me became the most watched Korean OST music video of all-time.
By the end of June, 2019, the video had 168 million views and received 1.5 million likes on YouTube.

Stay With Me was also nominated on the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2017 as the best OST, along with two other songs from the Goblin OST: I Will Go To You Like The First Snow by Ailee and Beautiful by CRUSH and songs from two other dramas, You and I From The Beginning (OST. Ruler: Master Of the Mask) by Bolbbalgan4 and I Love You Boy“(OST. While You Were Sleeping) by Suzy.
As it turned out, Ailee was the winner with her song I Will Go To You Like The First Snow.

Stay With Me Live Performance
On March 4, 2018, Chanyeol and Punch finally gave a live performance on You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook. It was the first time the two performers ever shared a stage.
This was a much-awaited performance by netizens because after the music video was released Chanyeol always performed the song with a singer from another girl-group.

Chanyeol Feat. WJSN’s Seola
On September 22, 2017, Seola from WJSN had the opportunity to appear on stage with Chanyeol on KCON Australia. As the vocalist from WJSN, Seola showed her beautiful voice.
Chanyeol Feat. Soyou
December 1, 2017, on the Mnet Asian Music Awards, Chanyeol performed the song with former SISTAR member Soyou. In fact, they performed two songs, I Miss You and Stay With Me.
Soyou’s husky voice was a beautiful instrument for both songs, and Chanyeol looked awesome dressed up as the grim reaper from the drama.
Chanyeol Feat. Red Velvet’s Wendy
From the same agency, Chanyeol had a collaboration with the main vocalist from Red Velvet, Wendy. On their agency’s annual event, SM TOWN world tour in Seoul, they gave a beautiful performance.
Not only in Seoul, they collaborated again in the SM TOWN world tour in Dubai.

On September 3, 2017, in Music Bank in Jakarta, Chanyeol performed the song with a singer from yet another girl-group, Yuju from GFriend!
Yuju is the main vocal for the group and her voice is exceptional.
