Eunji’s Debut in BRAVE GIRLS
Brave Brothers of Brave Entertainment formed the group called Brave Girls in 2011. Brave Girls originally consisted of Yoo Jin, Hye Ran, Eun Yong, Seo-a, and Ye Jin. There was a rumor back in 2014 that Brave Girls had disbanded but it was never officially addressed. It was confirmed, however, that three of the original five members would not be renewing their contracts with Brave Entertainment.
On March 14, 2011, Eunyoung was revealed as the leader of Brave Girls. After a two-year hiatus for re-planning and re-structuring, the Brave Girls returned in 2016 as a 7-member group and made a comeback. The group now consisted of the original members Yoo Jin and Hye Ran, along with 5 new members Min Yeong, Yu Jeong, Eun Ji, Yu Na, and Ha Yun. The group released “Deepened” on February 16 as a digital single.
On January 13, 2017, Brave Entertainment released a statement announcing the departure of Yoojin. According to the company, Yoojin was planning to concentrate on her education and would be studying abroad, while Hyeran was on an indefinite medical hiatus. On August 11, 2018, Brave Entertainment announced that member Hayun would not participate in promotions and was on hiatus due to health issues.
The current members of Brave Girls consist of Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna.
Brave Girl’s Eunji’s Appearance on KBS’s The Unit
Eunji joined the survival show created by KBS, “The Unit”. The Unit is a survival show that aims to give idols a second chance at success, and nine female and nine male contestants would be chosen for finalist project groups.
On August 17, 2017, it was announced that Brave Girls members Yujeong, Eunji and Yuna would be participating in the idol rebooting show, which would premier on October 28, 2017. Yujeong and Eunji passed the audition for the show, but Eunji was eliminated in 45th place during the first elimination round.
