Peru Edition of Youth Over Flowers
In This Peru Edition, featuring 3 singer-songwriters who went backpacking together to Peru, consisting of Yoon Sang, You Hee-yeol, and Lee Juck. In this edition, their ultimate destination is Machu Picchu, It is located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District, above the Sacred Valley, which is 80 kilometers (50 mi) northwest of Cuzco and through which the Urubamba River flows, cutting through the Cordillera and creating a canyon with a tropical mountain climate.
Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. Its three primary structures are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. Most of the outlying buildings have been reconstructed in order to give tourists a better idea of how they originally appeared. it was declared a Peruvian Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. and In 2007, Machu Picchu also was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in a worldwide Internet poll.
in the first meeting of the three people with Youth Over Flowers’s PD, Na PD at a restaurant. Na PD gave their plane tickets which indicated the flight time and place they were going to.
all the casts concerned were surprised to see that they would leave on June 25, 2014, which meant they would go to Peru that same day. plus their flight was scheduled at 4 PM, while it was already 2 PM, that meant they had to hurry to the airport right then and no time to return home for packing, they had to go to Peru in their clothes and what they bring that moment.
apparently, that was what Na PD expected and was the concept of the event. on the way to the airport, all three casts are given the allowances for 10 days, 5017 sol, sol is the currency in Peru. the allowances including Food, Accommodation, Transport, Sunblock, Underwear, and miscellaneous items.
they are also not allowed to use their personal money and cards while in Peru, therefore the purses of the three casts will be held by the staff.
they decided to go to an area called Huacachina, when they got there they got an inn that also provided services to take them to the desert.
the road in the desert is not flat, of course, there are hilly areas and valleys, it’s nice to see them riding in vehicles in the wilderness like riding the Roller Coaster in Amusement Park.
after that they also use the desert conditions to play sliding from top to bottom, they say it’s very fun even try it many times. time does not feel so fast after they have fun, in the wilderness, they enjoy the Sunset that can be seen from the top of the desert, which is certainly very beautiful and very dear to miss.
after finally arriving at Machu Picchu, they had to swallow their disappointment because the weather conditions at that time did not support them to enjoy the beauty of the scenery at Machu Picchu. the place is filled with white fog so they don’t see anything except for.
after seeing the situation, they decided to wait to hope the fog would soon disappear. but after a while, they waited for the Fog to get even thicker and their scenery increasingly blurred.
seeing this, You Hee-yeol said that she wanted to cry, “actually, I felt like crying at that time. We’ve come all the way here for this, but we can’t see a thing.” he also added that he felt that nature taught him something, that not everything could go smoothly and this gave the message “it’s impossible to succeed in everything.”
although disappointed, in the end, they still waited a little longer to wait for the sun to come out soon to eliminate the existing fog. while they were waiting while enjoying their lunch, the sun and clouds began to appear, seeing there was hope that the fog would soon disappear, they along with the staff immediately rushed to re-challenge themselves to go up once again.

Laos Edition of Youth Over Flowers
similar to the Peru edition, ‘Youth Over Flowers’ which this time will also abduct casts to Laos. ‘Youth Over Flowers’ Peru Edition, took 3 actors who played from the popular drama ‘Reply 1994’, the 3 actors consisted of Yoo Yeon-seok, Baro ex-B1A4, and Son Ho-jun.
On July 7, 2014, these three actors in meeting to do CF shooting together, of course, this is only the setting made by the staff of ‘Youth Over Flowers’ to deceive them. the filming they did was for the opening of the Laos Edition event.
and of course this succeeded in deceiving them, and they also did not have any preparation on that day. they even went to Laos in their outfit suits for CF purposes and they were just told about going to Laos for 10 days, 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
On the way to the airport, Na PD said that the weather in Laos was not good enough for traveling, it rained and thunder almost every day and it’s very hot there.
the three of them arrived at a place called Blue Lagoon by bicycle. when they got there they were amazed by the view of the clear and blue water, even Son Ho-jun said “This is too beautiful. After reaching Blue Lagoon, all of the tiredness gone in an instant. It seems like fairies would come out from there”
Yoo Yeon-seok was also immediately encouraged by his adrenaline when he got to the Blue Lagoon. start with some stretch before you try to jump from the height into the water.
