Uji’s First Ever Debut with EXID
U.Ji made her first appearance by debuting as a member of a girl group that consists of six members called EXID. They debuted under AB Entertainment (then turned to Banana Culture) back on February 16th, 2012. With the single album Holla and the title track “Whoz That Girl.”
She promoted with the group for a while, and shortly after, U.Ji, Haeryoung, and Hyeyeon decided to leave EXID. The reason she decided to leave the group was that she wanted to continue her studies first. So that’s why for around one and a half year, she was on a hiatus from the Korean music industry.
