Former Members
Before SM Entertainment launched NCT and Red Velvet, they introduced some of their potential trainees and formed them into a group called SM Rookies. Through this project, they introduced the trainees’ name, some short information, and their visuals, and talents. However, not all the trainees that were introduced as SM Rookies members would debut as a member of the idol group later. There are some trainees who did not make it to the debut lines and decided to give up and leave the agency.

After waiting several years to debut as part of SM Entertainment’s next girl group, He-rin decided to part ways with SM Entertainment in 2017. However, she was eliminated and did not make it be part of the debut group, FROMIS_9. She decided to leave the Korean entertainment industry and returned to her hometown, Manchester, England.
