Park Hwan-hee’s Early Career

Park Hwan-hee started her career as a fitting model for an internet shopping mall in her 20s. She became well-known in the field, and other fitting models sometimes called her Dongdamun’s Legend. She signed a contract with a large internet shopping mall and received an initial bonus of 5 million won. Her nickname in the modelling world was Honey.

Park Hwan-hee made her acting debut through a minor role in the drama Who Are You: School 2015 (2015). She acted as Kim Kyung-jin, one of a school bullies, who bully Lee Eun-bi (portrayed by Kim So-hyun) in her previous school. She only appeared in Episode 1.

Park Hwan-hee’s second project was the drama Descendants of the Sun (2016). The series was a major hit in South Korea, reaching a 38.8% viewership rating and gaining popularity across Asia. Park Hwan-hee, as one of the supporting roles, also gained popularity. She played the role of Choi Min-ji, an emergency room nurse and part of Haesung Hospital Medical Services Team.

Also in 2016, Park Hwan-hee became one of supporting roles in the drama Don’t Dare to Dream (2016), as Geum Soo-jung, an announcer at the SBC broadcasting company who is interested in Go Jung-won (portrayed by Go Kyung-pyo).

In 2017, Park Hwan-hee acted in the drama The King in Love (2017), in one of supporting roles. Her character was Wang Dan, the younger sister of Wang Rin (portrayed by Hong Jong-jyun) who has a crush on Wang Won (portrayed by Im Si-wan).

Park Hwan-hee’s latest project is the drama Are You Human Too? (2018), which aired from June 4 to August 7, 2018. With this project, she landed her first leading role.
