The Results: X1 Members
The final results are coming! Finally, the 11 final contestants have been choosen with the name X1! Basically, the 10 members were choosen by online and onsite voting, meanwhile the 11th member was choosen by the total votes he had received throughout the season. And here’s the 11 contestants and their ranking:

Controversies
Despite all of the glory and happiness during the Produce X 101 process, unfortunately, there are also some controversies among them. One of the controversies was about the voting counts in the final episodes.
The controversy came out when netizens find out that the gap between the vote counts is quite large. Then Produce X 101 revealed a statement regarding the issues. Basically, the staff of Produce X 101 found out that there are no issues with the final ranking, but that an error occurred in the process of calculating the total number of individual votes.
They also confirmed that there are no changes due to the final votes among contestants. Then they also apologized to all of the people who have been voting as well, and promised to improve their system to prevent the same case which might happen in the future. But still, there’s also an investigation about the case. Even Mnet offered the failed contestants to debut with a new group if the investigation about the controversy revealed that it was true. The offer is only valid depending on the results of the investigation.
Future Plans For X1
Now, let’s move on with the latest news about X1! What are the future plans for them? Let’s find out together! One of the clues for X1 was they will be debuting soon in Gocheok Sky Dome in August 2019. X1 already revealed their official color through their group’s social media, and here’s the explanation about their group color:

Also, their contract is in effect for five years from their original debut, with the exclusive contract for two and a half years, and the rest of the contract is non-exclusive, which allows the members to go back to their original agencies and do promotions.
