Lee Min-hyuk, or better known as Minhyuk, was born on November 29th, 1990, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and rapper. He is a visual in the South Korean boy band, BTOB. He graduated from Kwangsung High School and attended Dankook University, majored in Musical. He has received multiple supporting roles in television series, such as A New Leaf and Sweet, Savage Family.
Before debuting as a BTOB member, Minhyuk used to act in jTBC’s Living In Cheongdamdong as an Invincible member of No. Chungdam. 3, with members Seo Eun-kwang, Lim Hyun-sik, Jung Il-hoon, and Lee Min-woo.
Under the name “Huta,” Minhyuk collaborated with Zico and Park Kyung (from Block B) for their song, titled “여전히 (Still).”
Minhyuk and BTOB’s youngest member Yook Sung-jae were named the new MCs for the SBS MTV‘s The Show 2.
BTOB released one mini-album (with Asia Special Edition) and three singles. Together with Ilhoon, Minhyuk also contributed to the writing of the lyrics of “비밀 (Insane),” their debut song. He also starred as the leading actor in 그 입술 을 뺏 었어 (Irresistible Lips) alongside actress Seo Woo.

On Friday, January 4th, 2019, CUBE Entertainment announced that Minhyuk’s first solo album would be named Hutazone. Huta was Minhyuk’s stage name when he was an underground rapper before officially debuting as an idol.
Hutazone was scheduled to be released on January 15th, 2019, at 18:00 KST or 16:00 WIB. Reportedly, Minhyuk helped write the lyrics of the songs on his solo album.
Minhyuk last released a solo song titled “Purple Rain” in 2017. While in July 2018, Minhyuk released his Japanese solo mini-album Summer Diary. Meanwhile, Minhyuk will begin his military service in the first half of 2019. He will serve as a police officer while serving military service.
Minhyuk will follow his group mates, Eunkwang and Changsub who first entered the military.

However, before his military service, Minhyuk released a solo album. This Minhyuk solo album is titled HUTAZONE and was released on January 15th, at 18:00 local time. The name of this album is exactly the same as Minhyuk’s Instagram username. Huta is the name that Minhyuk used as an underground rapper before his official debut with BtoB.

Will be held Closed, BTOB’s Minhyuk Finally Confirms His Military Date
The latest news coming from BTOB’s Minhyuk is regarding his military service. On Friday, January 11th, Cube Entertainment released an official statement. They said that the 1990-born idol would enter military service on February 7th.
Cube Entertainment also revealed that they will not reveal the location of Minhyuk’s military service. This is done at the request of the singer of the song “It’s okay.”
“Minhyuk will register on February 7th as conscription police,” Cube Entertainment wrote. “He has stated his intention to register in private, so we will respect his wishes and not disclose the exact time and location.”
Meanwhile, Minyuk has been accepted as a police officer. Previously, he registered and underwent an interview. After passing the first round of the application, Minhyuk was selected through a random lottery in the second round.
Minhyuk is the third BTOB member to undergo military service. Previously, Eunkwang had been signed in since August 2018. While Changsub started his military service on January 14th.
