Meet The Handsome Jungkook, Member of the Phenomenal Boy-Band BTS
Jeon Jung-kook (Hangeul: 전정국) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and member of the boy-band BTS or Bangtan Boys. Jungkook was born in Busan, South Korea. His family consists of his parents and an elder brother. He attended Baekyang Elementary and Middle School in Busan. He, who also called Golden Maknae, was born September 1, 1997, is also known simply as Jungkook. He used to dream of becoming a badminton player when he was young, but eventually, after seeing G-Dragon, he wanted to be a singer.
His journey started with an audition for the South Korean talent show Superstar K in Daegu. Although Jungkook was not selected on that audition, he eventually got casting offers from seven entertainment companies. For his decision, he chose Big Hit Entertainment and become a trainee because he got inspired by seeing RM, and after that became his fellow band member in BTS. Jungkook has an older brother named Jeon Jung Hyun who already went to military school. His brother is good at drawing, the same as their father. One source said Jungkook has a younger brother, too, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Jungkook’s father comes to BTS concert and always supports Jungkook. During theconcerts, his father is always waving at him but Jungkook has a hard time seeing his family since it is crowded seen from the stage. Besides his father, his mother looks younger than any other moms out there, looking more like Jungkook’s classmate than his mother.
Their family has a lot of artistic talent in their genes. Recently Jungkook’s father made a pencil drawing of BTS’s official Twitter account and it was so hilarious.

BTS Jungkook’s Parents’ Love Story
Jungkook’s dad was born in 1971 and married his mother when they were young. His motheris two years younger than his dad. Jungkook revealed on the reality show Let’s Eat Dinner Together, which is a documentary-like program that show the journey of National MCs in finding a dinner in Koreans homes, that his mother fell in love with his dad and hit on him first since his dad was so good looking. Jungkook told Kang Ho Dong, the MC, that his mother was proactive and energetic.
Like Father, Like Son
Jungkook’s father was very youthful and handsome, almost looking like his brother. Some fans said his father passed his DNA to Jungkook, which gave him his his good-looking face. His dad is only 46 years old but looks younger than his actual age.
