He’s the first member of BTS to debut in drama. He also made his debut in the drama titled Hwarang from December 19, 2016, before February 21, 2017. This play is about an elite group of young men known as’hwarang’ who detect passion, love, and friendship at the turmoil of the Silla Kingdom. The drama celebrities Park Seo-joon, Go Ara, Park Hyung-sik, Do Ji-han, Choi Min-ho, Choi Yoon-woo, and also himself.

In this drama, he played the role of Suk Han-sung, the youngest hwarang that has a warm personality and gets along well with everyone. He’s a bright and innocent boy who has a significant burden as the last ‘true bone’ within his clan or loved ones.
