What Happen Between BTS’ V and SNSD’ Yoona?
Is there anyone who doesn’t know these two Korean singers? Kim Taehyung, most often called V, and Im Yoon-ah, with the stage name Yoona. Both of them are public figures who started their career with their respective groups, V in BTS, while Yoona in SNSD. V is a member of BTS who was born in 1995, and he is referred to as “The Most Handsome Face in 2017”. V has the perfect visuals for an idol, he is admired by many people around the world and he is a man who is highly desired by many women because of his character, his unique charisma, the lovable aspect of his personality, his humor, and his good looks.
Whereas Yoona, who debuted as a member of the girl group SNSD or Girls’ Generation, in August 2007, is one of South Korea’s most popular girl idols in the world. Apart from her activities with the group, she has participated in various television dramas, such as You Are My Destiny (2008), and she made her breakthrough when she starred in Love Rain (2012), Prime Minister & I (2013), The K2 (2016), and last but not last The King in love (2017). She went on to major in theater studies and graduated from Dongguk University in February 2015.
V and Yoona’s Relationship!
Unexpectedly, it turns out that an idol who is now an International singer, BTS’ V, is an admirer of Korea’s most popular girl group, SNSD. When BTS attended a variety show as guest stars, all members were asked about the first album they have bought, to which V answered, “SNSD/Girls’ Generation.” Not only that, but during a live stream by Yahoo Music in the United States, V also shared some information about his favorite girl group.
On that occasion, every member got asked about the first album they have bought. V said, the first album that he bought with his own money was Gee by SNSD, and he also added a question for everyone, saying, “Do you know SNSD? Girls’ Generation (album)?” According to V, SNSD is the best group in Korea. Therefore, he was very amused and willing to buy their album and he even wanted to be close with the members. During a flight, Taehyung was lucky enough to meet a member of SNSD, and because he was afraid of looking messy, he tried not to fall asleep.
His love for the group turned out to make him one of the lucky fans. That is, when BTS held the concert BTS Live Trilogy Episode III in 2017, the final concert was held for three days at Gocheok Sky Dome, Seoul, South Korea from December 8th to December 10th. A member of SNSD attended their final concert, that member was Yoona.
Yoona was sitting next to Park Hyungsik and Park Seo-joon, who are Taehyung’s friends from the drama Hwarang. V certainly didn’t waste the chance and immediately captured the moment by taking a photo with his favorite idol.
Last year, at the end of 2018, V and Yoona were reunited on a stage at the MBC Gayo Daejejun 2018. During the music festival, SNSD’s Yoona served as one of the hosts while V was performing with BTS. Each of their movements had been highlighted by the TV cameras as well as the fancam. From the fan’s camera, it could be revealed that V and Yoona had interaction with each other.
In the video, V called out to Yoona by tapping her shoulder, because he wanted to tell her that there are members from another group who were born in 1995, but they weren’t mentioned by the hosts. After that, they took pictures together.
