EXO’s Chanyeol Sends Food Truck to Choi Tae-joon’s Shooting Location
EXO’s Chanyeol is known to have become close friends with actor Choi Tae-joon since the two starred together in the drama Missing Nine last year. Since then, they often get together and provide each other with support, including several other players, such as CN Blue’s Lee Jong-hyun and Zico, former members of Block B.
On Monday (12/24), Chanyeol sent a food truck to the location of Choi Tae-joon’s drama, So I Married Anti Fan. This moment was shared by Choi Tae-joon by uploading photos on his personal Instagram account.
In some of the uploads, there was a banner that read, “So I Married Anti Fan actor and staff, please enjoy these snacks and gather your energy! From Hoo Joon to Hoo Joon.” In the photo caption section, Choi Tae-joon revealed that he was quite touched by the gift given by his friend.
“From superstar Hoo Joon to Hoo Joon,” Choi Tae-joon wrote in the caption section. “I’m touched. Hurray, Park Chan-yeol!”

The upload immediately received various comments from netters and fans. Many claim that they have gotten “carried away” by their closeness. Some netizens even dub Chanyeol as “brother-in-law” of Choi Tae-joon. This is mainly because in the latest drama, Chanyeol plays as Park Shin-hye’s younger brother, and she is Choi Tae-joon’s girlfriend.

The drama starring Choi Tae-joon is a serial version of the film starring Chanyeol, So I Married an Anti Fan that aired in 2016. Both are stories adapted from comics with the same title. And the two stars are also playing the main male character named Hoo Joon.
In an interview, Choi Tae-joon once praised Chanyeol as a great person. He also revealed that there were many more senior actors who admired Chanyeol.
“Chanyeol is the youngest of the male actors in the series Missing Nine. He is the youngest member but the funniest with a very good reaction,” said Choi Tae-joon. “I also have a pretty good reaction, but Chanyeol’s energy is really bright and great. That’s why many more senior actors adore him.”

The two friends worked together on the set of Missing Nine back in 2016. They both played idols who used to be in the same band before it disbanded. Even though Choi Tae-joon’s character in the drama wasn’t so fond of Chanyeol’s character, the two seem to be very close in real life.
