The girl group Cignature consists of Chaesol, Seline, Jeewon, Chloe, Semi, Belle, and Dohee. It consists of 7 talented girls under J9 Entertainment. They were supposed to debut with the name C9 Girlz after GOOD DAY disbanded, but they debuted with the name Cignature. One of the members, Ye Ah, shouted out her idea to name the group and there it is. Cool!
Cignature debuted with the lead track “Nun Nu Nan Na” on February 3, 2020. They originally had Ye Ah and Sunn, but they left on April 27, 2021. They were substituted by Chloe and Dohee. Cignature Pre-Debut
Cignature’s members come from various experiences but are still related in idol preparation. Jeewon, Chaesol, Belle, YeAh, and Sunn (both the former members) were the former members of the girl group GOOD DAY. They debuted on August 30, 2017, and then disbanded.
Some of them also joined the survival show The Unit as a KBS2 survival show including Sunn, Belle, Jeewon, and Chaesol. They were supposed to debut with the name C9 Girlz but changed to Cignature.

Cignature debuted with the song “Nun Nu Nan Na” on February 4, 2020, under C9 Entertainment. The song has bright and eccentric music, and you should check them out!
The Departure of Sunn and Ye Ah
Sunn and Ye Ah were announced to be leaving the group on April 27, 2021. It’s kind of short and sudden news since they just debuted in 2020. The reason behind their departure was unexposed.
Meanwhile, the company J9 Entertainment made a special post on Twitter as an official letter that covers the departure of Sunn and Ye Ah. The statement said that they were not holding contracts with Cignature anymore after having discussions with their parents and company.
J9 Entertainment made an apology to all fans that were waiting for their comeback. They will do their best and come back with new fantastic music and performances. The company also asked for support and interest for Cignature for future work.
