The friendship between EXO’s Chanyeol and Baekhyun is in the spotlight with the public, especially their fans, EXO-L! Not only are they groupmates in EXO, they also have a strong relationship with each other. It’s no wonder, since they were already friends, even before they debuted.

EXO’s Chanyeol and EXO’s Baekhyun, The “ChanBaek” Couple
EXO’s Chanyeol and EXO’s Baekhyun’s friendship is tight enough that the pair were given the nickname “ChanBaek”. Their fans support their friendship, and there are even a lot of them who have jokingly said that “ChanBaek” was the perfect couple! The guys, themselves, have said they felt that they were connected and matched for each other.
On one occasion, Chanyeol was talking about his friendship with Baekhyun, saying “Baekhyun has a lot of similarities with me. We had the similar taste, and even our personality was very similar. We went into the internet cafe and the bowling area together. Baekhyun-ah, I hope that we could always be happy together.” Such a sweet statement, right?
The similarity of their personalities really comes out through their funny behavior! When EXO held a showcase in Paradise City, Incheon, last November, the two performers were talking about their habit of teasing one of the other guys in the group, Suho. Suho never gets upset if EXO’s Baekhyun is the one teasing him, but Chanyeol was protesting about why Suho always scolded him, if he was the one doing the teasing. The fans were very amused by their antics.
The two friends also take care of each other, like when Chanyeol was folding Baekhyun’s clothes. Baekhyun will do the same things for Chanyeol. And when it comes to rain, EXO’s Chanyeol holds up the umbrella to cover them, because he’s the taller of the two.
The pair also has some couple stuff! They were luxury wedding bands for man.
EXO’s Chanyeol and EXO’s Baekhyun Funny Moments Together
One of the most entertaining things about EXO’s Chanyeol and EXO’s Baekhyun is their random, funny behavior. It seems like they can always find the right moment to do anything to entertain the people around them! One of those moments was when EXO was attending the Melon Music Awards, in 2017.
At the time, the other members of EXO had left, and there were Chanyeol and Baekhyun, left over. They were sitting on a long couch together and were playing around, even sleeping! Wanna One’s Kang Daniel was sitting next to them, and just watched their behavior, smiling and nodding. Meanwhile, EXO’s Baekhyun replied with wave hands.
