In 2017, EXO did a comeback with a repackaged album called The War. With a title track named ‘Power’, they did a unique concept where all the members are game characters who have superpowers (same as Mama) and have to fight a monster in the music video.

Love Shot Era
EXO make their comeback in the last quarter of 2018 with two title track album songs, and one of them is ‘Love Shot’. This song is actually the second one to be promoted on several music shows, and sadly they only did a little promotion for ‘Love Shot’. But the impact of this song was so big, as we can see that up until now some other idol groups have done covers of the song.

Obsession Era
EXO held their first comeback ever only six remaining members on November 11, with a dark concept and the title track called ‘Obsession’. For this comeback, EXO did a split character concept, where one version of them shows them as normal humans, and the other persona is more dark and evil.

EXO’s main dancer and face of the group, Kai, gets a lot of love from the fans around the world for his birthday; all of them expressed their well-wishes on Twitter.
Kai, who was born on January 14, 1994, celebrated his 25th birthday this year. As the clock struck at 12 a.m KST (Korea Standard Time), Kai expressed his gratitude during a live broadcast, as the fans also started to trend hashtags to celebrate with him.
Various hashtags like #HappyBearDayKai rose up to number 1 on the list on Twitter, along with the other hashtags like #HappyKaiDay and #JonginHappyBirthday, that also entered the top 10 worlwide trends.
