Xiumin Goes to Fortune Teller to Check His Compatibility with Suho
Xiumin was the first member to host the Naver V-Live variety show Shim For You (also known as Heart 4 U). In the eighth episode, Xiumin is eating a meal with his non-celebrity friends to fulfill his bucket list. As he is eating, he suddenly has an idea to find out about his chemistry with one of the EXO members, Suho, the leader. He then texts Suho and tries to ask about the time he was born and his name in Chinese characters. After sending the text, he jokingly says that if their chemistry is good, he will try harder to get along well with him. He confesses that it is still a bit awkward with Suho since he is younger, but they are clearly friends.
After awhile, Xiumin gets a reply from Suho, “Ah! Okay wait!!!!” While he’s waiting, he heads to the fortuneteller with his friends, which was also a bucket list item. When they arrived, the fortuneteller tells Xiumin many things after he gave his full name and birth date. The fortuneteller started with his luck, and touched on his marriage, finances, and health. He then asked if the fortuneteller could see the chemistry between him and a male friend, Suho. After the fortuneteller said yes, he offered up Suho’s full name and birth date. It continues to the next episode of the show, episode 9.
The fortuneteller said that Xiumin has to help him out and that the compatibility was not bad. He said that Suho is like a little brother that wants to beat Xiumin and Suho couldn’t help it. So Xiumin has to understand as the older brother. Xiumin then asked why Suho acts like that, but the fortuneteller reveals that he was born with that nature and doesn’t know himself as well, he just wants to win. The fortuneteller also says that Suho is always tense and is never at peace. “You have to be understanding to him. Don’t try to argue with him,” the fortuneteller adds. Xiumin then responds that he has never tried to argue with Suho. The fortuneteller goes on that no matter his real age is, Xiumin has to always think himself as the older brother. “It’s a hard thing to do…” Xiumin chuckles.
However, the fortuneteller also said that Suho is a really nice person and Xiumin agreed with him. Yet, Suho is always stressed since he’s a tense person and he tries to hide it, but his closest friends all know about it. The fortuneteller says that Suho is going to be stressed a lot until this year, due to a lot of work, so the fortuneteller tells Xiumin to go to Suho and give some advice to loosen up. “I always say that to him,” Xiumin replies and that was praised by the fortuneteller. The fortuneteller again repeated that it is not a bad compatibility between them, but Xiumin has to take care of Suho more.

Suho Promises to Visit Xiumin At Military
On April 9, 2019, SM Entertainment announced that Xiumin would be enlisting on May 7, and that the location and time would not be revealed due to his wish to enlist quietly. He would be the first member who started their military service. He held a last fan-meeting before the enlistment, on May 4, and released a solo track, titled You, on May 9 for the fans through SMSTATION. A day before the enlistment, Xiumin shaved his hair and posted a pic of himself on Instagram.

On the day of his enlistment, before entering, the EXO members made a send-off celebration. EXO’s official Instagram (@weareone.exo) uploaded a pic of them with their thumbs up. The members also uploaded a pic of them on their own Instagram accounts, including the leader, Suho.

Suho wrote a caption, “19.05.07” the date of Xiumin’s enlistment, “WE ARE ONE! EXO let’s love!” He also added a caption that Jong-in (Kai’s real name) could not attend the send-off celebration due to his father’s death anniversary. “It’s a pity Jong-in could not join us today. I hope he spend a good time with his father.” Some assumed that he wrote that caption because many had bad-mouthed Kai’s absence without knowing where he actually was.
On June 21, Suho went live on Instagram for approximately 10 minutes and 30 seconds. He mostly talked about the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival. Then he mentioned D.O’s upcoming enlistment on July 1, and about visiting Xiumin. He said that for Min-seok, he would like to see him soon and take a lot of pictures. “Please wait a little longer,” he added before ending his live video.

As of this time, there hace’t been any updates from Suho about Xiumin or D.O after their enlistments. That may be due to EXO’s tight schedule since they have been preparing and holding concerts. Let’s wait for his updates and keep supporting EXO!
