Mamamoo’s Concerts and Tours
After debuting for two years, Mamamoo finally started to do their own concerts and tours. Not only in their home country, but Mamamoo is also able to greet their overseas fans in some countries in Asia, such as Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Did Mamamoo Do Plastic Surgery?
Just like changing your hairstyle or how you dress, changing your facial features is seen as normal in South Korea. Believe it or not, the majority of South Korean citizens have undergone some sort of plastic surgery, be it the minor or major procedures. Likewise, Mamamoo, as a girl-group who debuted in a country so focused on looks, may have done cosmetic surgery, which we will discuss in this section.
The first member we’ll examine is none other than the group’s leader and visual, Solar. Originally named Kim Yong-sun, the idol had a rumor that she was a defector from North Korea, since there are so few photos of her before her debut. However, the rumor was debunked as pictures from during her school days surfaced on the internet. Compared to her present appearance, Solar has changed drastically, as she looks like she had work done on her eyes, nose, and jaw. Not only surgeries, but Solar may have also done a lip injection.
When asked about her plastic surgery rumors, Solar never really denied nor confirmed them, only saying that she understands how her high school photos look different. In her defense, Solar diplomatically said that she only lost weight and changed her style since then.
Unlike Solar, Moonbyul does not look really different compared to her past photos. As you can see in the pictures above, the only facial feature of Moonbyul that look slightly different is her eyes, which we believe is the result of magical eye makeup that makes her look more fierce. Moonbyul also lost a lot of weight, which made her more stunning in the present time.
We had a similar outcome looking at Wheein. Comparing her past photos during her school days, Wheein has never changed, as her monolid eyes remained the same, as well as her nose which never stands out but looks completely right on her face. Thus, we believe that Wheein still maintains her natural beauty and never underwent surgery.
Last, but not least, is Mamamoo’s star attraction, Hwasa. We all know that Hwasa looks fabulous with her fantastic body, but little did people know that she was not naturally born with the large eyes that we recognize. Contrary to what has been suspected, it turns out that Hwasa has a talented makeup artist who can magically change her into a totally different person.
As you can see, Hwasa is regularly seen with her thick eyelashes, which give her such a dimensional look, as well as the big-circled contact lenses and makeup which complements her dark complexion. Even so, we think that Hwasa looks cute with her barefaced appearance, don’t you think so?
