Parc Jae-jung is a singer from South Korea, and was born in Seoul, on December 25, 1995. When he was a child he learned to play violin, clarinet, and traditional Korean percussion instruments, showing an early aptitude for music. In 2011, he moved with his family to Florida, where his parents worked as farmers.
In July, 2013, Parc Jae-jung participated in Superstar K5 and won the competition. He released a pre-debut single, “Stalker”, on November 20, 2013, and made his official debut on stage two days later, on the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards at Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo Arena. On July 17, 2014, he released his first EP, Step 1.
During his career to date, Parc Jae-jung has worked on many collaborations with other singers, such as Beenzino, Yoon Jong-shin, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, NCT’s Mark and Laboum’s Soyeon. On December 18, 2017, the singer held his first solo concert. Mood in December, at Seoul’s Hyundai Card Understage. His single “Words”, which released on August 4, 2018 was his first self-composed song since his debut.
