L’Officiel Homme
Jaehyun firstly became a ‘model’ in L’Officiel Homme Magazine around July, 2018. It is actually for L’Officiel Homme Thailand. The pictures were taken by the photographer Sang-Hun Lee.
For that photoshoot, Jaehyun came up alone and did some portrait poses. He looks very stunning, and maybe many people will think of him as a model and not as a singer in a boy-band.
You can see how he did some poses and his expressions. Totally like a professional model! Many fans gave compliments about this photoshoot, saying,

Meanwhile, in the October edition, Jaehyun came up again the whole of NCT127 for the photoshoot. At the time, their outfit theme was winter, so they were wearing knitwear. In this opportunity, Jaehyun was asked some questions by the interviewer. Let’s see it while also looking at his pictures.
First, the interviewer asked about how he felt about the latest L’Officiel Hommes Thailand, since he was on the cover.
Jaehyun answered, “I really like it. Every time I do a photoshoot, I really taking pictures in different places with different concepts. I think the fact that I was able to shoot even for L’Officiel Hommes Korea is fate.”
Then the interviewer asked again, “It’s said that when you were in middle school, you were such an excellent student that you placed number one in the whole school?”
Jaehyun answered, “Well, it’s such an old story. It’s not like I was number one in my class, it’s just that I always did really good in the subjects that required learning things by heart were very difficult for me. I was a very active student who had a very similar school life as other students. I had a lot of friends and since I liked sports to the point where I would play football and basketball almost everyday, so my days were spent like that.”
Then, the interviewer asked which position Jaehyun think fits him most, as his positions now include vocal and rap.
Jaehyun answered, “When I was younger, I used to go to the karaoke and sing Dynamic Duo songs but also give it all for songs like “Becoming Dust” by Kim Kwangseok. So, I jumped genres easily like that. When I was a trainee too, around the time of my debut it was like that too. I especially didn’t want to separate those two genres. I wanted to make music thinking that there are raps that sound like singing and singing which sounds like rap, without differentiating any genre. Instead of the genre, I want my colors to shine the most in my performances.”
On the next question, Jaehyun was asked about when he was the MC for Show Champion. Were there any other challenges he wanted take on, besides being a singer?
Jaehyun answered, “I really like taking challenges. However, as of right now, the things I want to focus on the most are and that I like the most are music and NCT activities. Since I like acting and taking pictures, if I have the opportunity later, I would like to be able to put out a photo book. Lately, I watched the drama that Winwin recommended to me called “Fight For My Way”, and all the characters were really good and it was very fun. I want to take on those roles in the future.”
Last, the interviewer asked, “How would you define a ‘cool person’?”
Jaehyun answered, “A person who is cool even to their friends. I want to become a cool person that cares more for their character and aura than for their appearance.”
