According to koreaherald.com, Korean actor Yeo Jin-goo, who plays the main character in the high school drama Orange Marmalade, discussed his initial feelings about the drama series with a local fashion magazine.

“I feel nervous and unfamiliar with this mellow role,” said Yeo, 17, who debuted as a child actor at the age of eight.

“I took part in my first shower scene for the drama so I was nervous, but the filming turned out to be quite relaxed,” he said. “The scene is not particularly exciting.”

“My character (Jae-min in Orange Marmalade) is different from me in many respects. He is not easily swayed by his emotions and is quite calculative,” said Yeo Jin-goo. “He’s very much a considerate gentleman. In some ways, he has grown up quicker than (most) people — though that starts to break down when he meets the female lead (played by Seolhyun).”

When they asked if Yeo Jin-goo is as mature as his character, he said, “I’m not sure. I am quite rational (like Jae-min) but I’m also quite emotional. Other than when I act or research my role, I’m really no different from most high school students who like having fun. I’m also more outgoing than Jae-min.”

That was all about our throwback to the Korean drama Orange Marmalade. Even though the plot is quite different from the Webtoon and many people hated the fact that they changed some stories into Saeguk, this drama is still worth watching.
