The 3-person boys group MBLAQ debuted in October 2009. The members are Mir, Seungho, and G.O from the left of the photo. Originally it was a group of 5 person, but in 2014 two of the members withdrew, becoming a triple.

The group name MBLAQ stands for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality, which means “Boys who sing absolute quality songs”. Each member of MBLAQ are actively doing personal activities. Expectations are gathered for their future activities as well.

No. 24: WINNER

The 4-person boys group WINNER which is known as a junior of BIGBANG. From left in the photo, the members are Kang Seungyoon, Lee Seunghoon, Kim Jinwoo, Nam Taehyun (withdrawal), and Song Minho. In 2013, they won debut authority in the debut survival program “WIN: Who is Next?” and later debuted in August 2014.

WINNER won first place in the music program shortly after debut. Only 5 days have passed since they made their debut at that moment. Although they made a spectacular debut, two years after debut, member of WINNER Nam Taehyun ceased his activities due to psychological deterioration of health condition, and then announced withdrawal. Became 4-person group member, WINNER has gained attention.

The 6-person boys group, TEENTOP, who debuted in July 2010. The members are Ricky, L. JOE, Chunji, Niel, C.A.P, and Changjo from the left in the photo. The meaning of the group name is “Emotional TEEN TOP Band”, “Teen aiming for the top”.

Currently they’re actively doing activities as a group as well as private activities, but recently there is a report that only L. JOE, the member of TEENTOP, who did not re-contract with the office, and it has become a hot topic . It’s become attention from now on.

FTISLAND, The 5-person boys group which debuted in June 2007. From the left in the photo, the members are Seunghyun, Jaejin, Minhwan, Hong, and Jonghoon. The group name stands for “Five Treasure Island”. In 2008 they debuted as Indies in Japan, then in 2010 they joined major debut and also took charge of the theme song of drama and anime. They’re also held concerts at Nippon Budokan successfully.

Let’s hope they continue to perform in Korea and also in Japan.

MONSTA X, the 7-person boys group which debuted in May 2015. Members are Hyungwon, Kihyun, I. M, Wonho, Jooheon, Minhyuk, and Shownu from the left in the photo. Before debut, they were 7 people who are selected from 13 trainees on the debut survival program “NO.MERCY”, and began their debut after.

MONSTA X came into full – scale entry into Japan this year. Also, they decided to make a come back to Korean popular song circle this month. They’re a group that is expected to be more and more active from now.
