The 6-person boys group, VIXX, which debuted in May 2012. From the left in the photo, the members are Hyuk, Hongbin, Ken, N, Ravi, and Leo. It was 6 people who made their debut with the audition program that took place in 2012, but they didn’t get the popularity as soon as they debuted.
However, VIXX has shown a stage with a high degree of completeness and a solid concept every time. They gained attention gradually and began to gain high popularity. VIXX’s stage has a storyline as if we’re watching musicals and feel like there is a charming attraction. We will see if they will get more and more popularity from now.
No. 14: BTOB

BTOB is the 7-person boys group which debuted in March 2012. From the left in the photo, the members are Sungjae, Peniel, Changsub, Hyunsik, Minhyuk, Eunkwang, and Ilhoon. The group name is an abbreviation for “Born To Beat”, which means “to have new music (beat) and born to show the stage”.
It is a group with a reputation for vocal aspect, and in 2014 they did Japan debut. Also, BTOP is popular as a group with the amazing gap. At the stage, they sing healing songs with charismatic figures splendidly, but in variety shows, they show us the way they go for taking a laugh at body touch. Such a gap is also a charm that grabs the hearts of fans, never wanting to let go.
No. 13: iKON

The 7-person boys group, iKON, which debuted in September 2015. From the left in the photo, the members are June, Yunhyeong, B.I, Jinhwan, BOBBY, Donghyuk, and Chan. In the debut survival program “WIN: Who is Next?” which took place in 2013, they lost to WINNER and lost their debut authority, but after having organized the group again they made debut one step late.
Even before debut people’s attention for them is already huge and in 11th days after debut they won first place in a music program. This became the second record in history following WINNER. IKON has gained great popularity as a rookie which took over the BIGBANG lineage. It will be increasing momentum from now on.
No. 12: CNBLUE

CNBLUE, the 4-person boys band which debuted in January 2010. From the left in the photo, the members are Jungshin, Jonghyun, Yonghwa, and Minhyuk. The group name stands for “Code Name BLUE”, BLUE adds the initials of Burning (Jonghyun), Lovely (Minhyuk), Untouchable (Jungshin), Emotional (Yonghwa). It is said that there’s also meaning, such as “With 4 people we make one color.”
In 2009 CNBLUE came to Japan for training as a band group, performed numerous performances on live houses and streets, and made an indies debut. They debuted officially in Korea the following year. After that, they also made major debuts in Japan. In addition to music activities, each member is active in various fields such as actors and MC of music programs.
