Everyone surely has heard this name once. TVXQ made their debut in January 2004. The members are Changmin on the left and Yunho on the right. From debut to 2010 they were working in a group of five, but three former members became independent as JYJ, and they decided to work with two people.
It is not an exaggeration to say that the genre called K – POP came to be noticed in Japan because TVXQ was there. The name of the very top group that continues to attract people with excellent ability and charisma is very fitting, don’t you agree? Not only in Korea, BIGBANG also has gained high popularity all over the world, including Japan. There are many people who are using BIGBANG as a role model, even among Korean idols.
BIGBANG boasts high charisma and has passed its own style. In 2016, the number of audiences mobilized in Japan in one year exceeded 1.85 million, which is the largest number among all the artists, and they’re showing a big success not getting caught up only in the K – POP genre. From this year it is expected that members will not be seen like 5 of them will do military service for a while, but we will also pay attention to their personal activities.
No. 1: EXO

EXO, the 9-person boys group which debuted in April 2012. From the left to the right of the photo are the members, namely D.O., Chanyeol, Lay, Xiumin, Suho, Baekhyun, Chen, and Kai. The group name comes from “EXOPLANET” which means the extrasolar planet, and it means “a new star from the unknown world”. The view of the world is established, and the setting that each member has special abilities will be unique to EXO.
