Kim Jong-dae is one of the EXO members who used to promote as EXO M, and now he’s active as a member of EXO, even debuted as a solo artist as well. Pre-Debut of Kim Jong-dae
Before we get to Chen’s appearance while being active as a member of EXO M, we will look at Chen’s appearance before he even made his debut!
As you can see, while he was still a student, Kim Jong-dae used to wear glasses. On the other hand, it seems that he still has a bit of baby fat so he looks more chubby than his current state.
However, as he got older, he lost the baby fat and his features started to shape and get sharper than before. Moreover, he also started to not wear his glasses, and his hairstyle changed so he looks much neater.
While he was a trainee, Kim Jong-dae used to wear simple clothes, such as a hoodie and sweatpants, in order for him to move easily while he trains. His hairstyle also hasn’t changed much since his school days, and his facial features have gotten more refined than before.
2012
When he made his debut as a member of EXO M, his hair started to get styled and dyed. In this photo, it looks like he dyed his hair with reddish-brown.
Meanwhile, in this photo, we can see that Kim Jong-dae had much darker colored hair. In addition, he also had shorter hair than his pre-debut era and got a perm on his hair.
