Lee Seung Gi and Yoona met for the first time on the variety show Happiness in 10000 Won in October, 2007. Yoona appeared with her group, Girls Generation, where they delivered mission cards to artists who performed on the show. One of the artists was Lee Seung Gi. As both new artists, they met several times on music shows. Blessed with acting talent, they both received The 46th Baeksang Arts Awards for most popular Actor and Actress in Television.

Baekhyun and Taeyeon have known each other since Baekhyun joined SM Entertainment as a trainee. Taeyeon was an idol senior who was three years older than Baekhyun. They started showing signs of attraction in October, 2013. Taeyeon showed her support to Baekhyun during a lawsuit by EXO’s former member Kris against SM Entertainment.

Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo officially met for the first time during the first script reading of the drama Descendants of the Sun on May 28, 2015. They fell for each other instantly. Song Hye Kyo said that Song Jong Ki was her best drama partner ever. Although younger than her, Song Jong Ki was more mature and very considerate towards female actors and rookie actors.
