NCT 127 is the second subunit and Seoul-based unit of the South Korean boy group NCT. With their first extended play NCT #127, featuring seven members: Taeyong, Taeil, Yuta, Jaehyun, Win-win, Mark, Haechan.

Johnny and Doyoung later joined in December 2016, followed by Jungwoo in September 2018.

They made their official debut with NCT #127 on July 10th, 2016, consisting of seven tracks including the lead single, “Fire Truck” and the B-side track “Once Again.”

On March 14th, 2018, NCT 127 released their new single “Touch” as part of NCT 2018 Empathy, a full-length studio album that brought together all active units of NCT, and grouped them under the collective name NCT 2018.

On May 23rd, NCT 127 released their Japanese debut EP Chain via Avex Trax.

On October 12th, NCT 127 released their first full-length album, Regular-Irregular, which is the first studio album by South Korean boy band NCT 127.

The album was released by SM Entertainment on October 12th, 2018, and distributed by IRIVER. It consists of eleven tracks.

On October 8th, NCT 127 released the music video of the English version of their new single “Regular,” which marks the group’s first English-language song. The music video for the Korean version of “Regular” was released on October 11th, 2018. The album was released on October 12th, 2018.

On November 13th, 2018, NCT 127 announced the release of the album’s repackage, Regulate with teasers of the members. The album and its lead single, “Simon Says,” was released on November 23rd, 2018.

WayV (Wei Shen V) is the fourth subunit and the China-based unit of the Hallyu localization project group, NCT. The unit is composed of seven members: Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. SM Entertainment first introduced the group on August 13th, 2018, as NCT China.

On January 17th, WayV released their first digital EP, The Vision, with a Chinese version of NCT 127’s “Regular” as the lead single.
