Even after all the things that have been happening since early 2020, K-Pop is still shining brightly with new talents everywhere, including in the freshly-debuted girl group Label Up. The group officially debuted in Korea on March 25th, 2020, with the single “Beautiful Tomorrow,” which they had already performed on their pre-debut 2019 Japan concert. This group consists of five beautiful members named Seyeon, Jena, Yoowoo, Coca, and Rian.

Formed under Yedam Entertainment, Label Up (라벨업) made their official debut in Korea on March 25th, 2020, with the release of their first single “Beautiful Tomorrow.” Prior to their official debut, the 5-member girl group had already performed their song on their pre-debut Japan concert in 2019.
Originally, the group was supposed to debut with 6 members, but before debuting, members Hyeni, Seunga, and Rina were announced to be leaving the group on April 30th, 2020. It is presumed that they will be put in a trio named ALabel which will be debuting later under the same company. Now, the group is active with only five members: Seyeon, Jena, Yoowoo, Coca, and Rian.

Music Video & Concept
Label Up made their official debut in Korea on March 25th, 2020, with the single “Beautiful Tomorrow,” which they had already performed on their pre-debut 2019 Japan concert. Their music video was also released on the same day as their debut with the concept slightly resembling Gfriend’s in which they showcase their innocent and playful side.
The music video doesn’t display anything fancy or dynamic, just the 5 members sitting and laughing while singing the lyrics of their sweet song.
Now, the MV has been watched for more than 5K views with most of the comments supporting their debut song:
“They’re really beautiful, I’m in love,” one user wrote. “Their voices omg I’m crying rivers,” another wrote. “Thank you for putting the lyrics in the description ❤️ much success to these cuties, I love the song,” another one commented.
Stage Performance
The group hasn’t made a stage performance yet on the weekly musical programs and there are very few to almost none fan-cams of their performance on YouTube.
But, they uploaded a short peek of them singing “Beautiful Damned” through their official Instagram account. From the caption, we know that it’s a wedding event in which they are invited to perform.

Japan Concert 2019
Prior to their official debut, the group held a series of pre-debut concerts on March 27th in Tokyo, Japan. In their concerts, they performed and did covers of various popular K-Pop girl groups songs such as Twice’s “Yes and Yes,” Blackpink’s “Kill This Love,” and Girls’ Generation’s “Into the New World.”

On May 3rd, 2020, Label Up’s official Instagram uploaded a picture of Rian to celebrate her birthday. In the photo, Rian is smiling at the camera while making a heart sign.
The caption read, “🎈 HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIAN🎈Are you having a nice honey holiday? It’s the youngest Rihanna’s birthday~ Happy birthday🎉 Please comment on the hashtag and happy birthday♡ Thank you all!!”
