As the number of patients infected with the ongoing coronavirus is increasing, Pledis Entertainment has decided to postpone their artists’ schedules for both the safety of their idols and fans. Pledis Entertainment released an official statement regarding Baekho‘s solo mini-concert in Taipei and Bangkok cancelation.
Baekho’s upcoming mini-concert BAEKHO-liday, postponements information can be read in the agency statements in the following announcement:
Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, we have decided to cancel or delay Baekho’s February concerts overseas in consideration of the health and safety of the artist and fans.
As the health and safety of the artist, audience, and staff is our top priority, we made this decision to prevent any potential harm. Thereby, we regret to inform you that Baekho’s upcoming mini-concert “BAEKHO-liday” in Taipei on February 14th will be canceled, and the mini-concert in Bangkok on February 16th will be postponed.
Please refer to the concert organizer’s social media accounts for further ticket refund information. The postponement regarding Ren’s Macau concert that was announced on January 31st through the organizer will remain in effect until further notice. We deeply apologize to the fans who have been looking forward to the concerts, and we ask for your generous understanding. Thank you.
(G)-IDLE’s World Tour Concert
(G)-IDLE is the next group to join the seemingly unending list of shows canceled due to the fast-spreading Wuhan Virus.
On February 13th, 2020, Cube Entertainment stated that (G)I-DLE’s Bangkok concert scheduled for April 4th, 2020, as part of their first world tour I-LAND: WHO AM I was officially postponed. The new replacement date for the Bangkok concert will be announced in the future.

Hello. This is Cube Entertainment. Our company made a decision to temporarily postpone (G)I-DLE’s first world tour, 2020 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR ‘I-LAND: WHO AM I’ as well as the release of their new album project, which were scheduled in the middle of March. After a thorough internal discussion, we, unfortunately, made this decision due to unforeseen circumstances around the globe.
Accordingly, detailed information regarding ticket refunds will be announced later through each promoter as well as the ticket site. To the fans who may have been looking forward to (G)I-DLE’s first world tour and the new album, we ask for your kind understanding. We hope to update you soon. Thank you.
TWICE’s Fan Signing Event
TWICE has also postponed their Tokyo Dome concerts. With the ongoing coronavirus epidemic, many idol groups have chosen to cancel or postpone their concerts and tours. JYP Entertainment’s girl group TWICE were supposed to continue their TWICE World Tour 2019 Twicelights in Japan on April 15-16, 2020 at the Tokyo Dome after previously having postponed this past March’s concerts. However, the April concerts have also been postponed until further notice as a result of the worsening of the current epidemic that hit almost every country in the world.
Not only their world tour, TWICE’s “&TWICE” fan signing events at Tokyo Dome City Prism Hall that was set to be held on February 1st and 2nd, 2020, has also been canceled due to the coronavirus.
NU’EST’s Ren’s 2020: NU’EST REN SPECIAL LIVE SHOW’ REN’S LIFE in Macau
As the virus, formally known as COVID-19, spreads and continues to affect many countries around the globe, all of the countries’ music industries are increasingly suffering as artists cancel events and international performances. Tours have been canceled throughout Asia, Europe, and North America by multiple popular K-Pop acts.
As his bandmate Baekho canceled his schedules in several countries, NU’EST’s Ren also postponed his solo concert in Macau due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
NU’EST’s Ren’s solo concert “2020 NU’EST REN SPECIAL LIVE SHOW <REN’S LIFE> FINALE IN MACAU” was first set to be held on February 23rd, 2020. However, the concert has been officially postponed until further notice.
