Your Honor, also known as Dear Judges, is a South Korean television series of the genres legal and romance. The story tells about Han Soo-ho (Yoon Shi-yoon) and Han Kang-Ho (Yoon Shi-yoon), who were born as identical twins but live totally different lives. Han Soo-Ho works as a judge and he is guided by principles. Han Kang-Ho’s extensive criminal record contains five different arrests. One day, Han Soo-Ho suddenly disappears. Han Kang-Ho secretly takes his brother’s place as a judge. Han Kang-Ho, who was once considered the trash, becomes “Dear Judge” and is highly respected.
Yoon Shi-yoon again proved his acting skills by playing the role of being two people with different characters. He played the identical twins, Han Kang-ho and Han Soo-ho. Han Kang-ho, a five-time convicted criminal, takes over his twin’s job after his sibling mysteriously disappears, and Han Soo-ho, A top judge who is very attached to personal belongings.
This drama aired on SBS on Wednesdays and Thursdays in the 22:00 (KST) time slot, from July 25 to September 20, 2018, for 32 episodes. Through his role in thisseries, Yoon Shi-yoon won the Excellence Award category, Actor in a Wednesday-Thursday Drama at the 2018 SBS Drama Awards.
Happy Noodle
Happy Noodle is a Chinese television romantic drama, in which the art of noodle making take center stage. It’s a delightful drama about pursuing your dreams and finding your identity. Jiang Xiu-Can (Yoon Shi-yoon) is an aspiring noodle chef, following in the footsteps of his father, Zhang Lin (Gao Shu Guang), who owns the famed Hang Zhou Noodle Restaurant. Zhang Lin prides himself on being the master of hand-made noodles that have been passed down for generations in his family.
As Xiu-Can tries to master the art of noodle making, in competition with his stepbrother, Zhang Jian (Zhang Jung Ning), he also seeks to learn the truth about his birth and his Korean-Chinese background. Xiu-Can falls in love with the beautiful Zhu Ling-Ling (Li Fei Er), and they try to help each other achieve their dreams. Can Xiu-Can come to terms with his identity and achieve his goal to become the best noodle chef?
In this drama, Yoon Shi-yoon was cast as Jiang Xiu Can. He has earned a ticket to go to Hang Zhou, China. He’s originally from an orphanage and still cooks noodles for the kids there. it aired on ZJSTV TV from April 28, 2013 until May 13, 2013, at 19.30, with a total of 35 episodes. Although Yoon Shi-yoon’s voice is dubbed when speaking Chinese, when speaking Korean, Yoon Shi-yoon uses his own voice. Thanks to his appearance in this drama, Yoon Shi-yoon is increasingly known in China, and, on December 8, Yoon Shi-yoon won the Popular Star Prize in China at the 2012 Asia Top 10 Popular Star Awards by CETV.
Prime Minister & I
Prime Minister and I is a South Korean television series about Kwon Yul (Lee Beom-soo), who is 42 years old and is South Korea’s youngest prime minister, ever. On top of his reputation for being an honest man of the utmost integrity, he’s been a widower since his wife died in a car accident seven years ago and is raising his three children, alone. What the public doesn’t know is that, despite his perfect image, Kwon Yul is actually a struggling father devoid of even the most basic of parenting skills.
Nam Da-jung (Im Yoon-ah) is a journalist from Scandal News who resorts to writing for a trashy tabloid to support her ailing father, but when she chases Prime Minister Kwon for a lucrative exposé, she ends up scooping a whole lot more than she bargained for, and the two end up in a contract marriage and fall in love with each other.
Yoon Shi-yoon played 32-year-old Kang In-ho. He is the Chief of Staff in the Prime Minister’s office. He speaks at least four languages other than his native tongue of Korean – those languages include Chinese, Japanese, English, and Spanish. Ever since the first time he had met Nam Da-jung, he found her unique and interesting.
However, when she started pestering Kwon Yul to marry her, In-ho began to perceive Da-jung as just another woman who wanted to get close to the Prime Minister, and despised her greatly. Later on, when he got to know the reason behind Da-jung’s actions, he regretted misunderstanding her. Deciding that he doesn’t want to have any more regrets in life, he falls further in love with her. He just wants to prove to Da-jung that when he said he would protect her, he truly meant it.
In the end, Yoon Shi-yoon had to give Nam Da-jung up for Kwon Yul, but many viewers hoped Nam Da-jung would end up with Yoon Shi-yoon because they were considered to have strong chemistry. Yoon Shi-yoon’s character in this drama looks so sincere about protecting Nam Da-jung. They look like a good pair because they have a close age gap, as compared with Kwon Yul. Whatever the ending in this drama, Yoon Shi-yoon managed to prove his acting skills, yet again.

After starring in his last drama, Nokdu Flower, also known as Mung Bean Flower, together with actor Jo Jung-suk and actress Han Ye-ri, and finished airing on July 13, 2019. Yoon Shi-yoon confirmed that he would be starring in the upcoming drama Psychopath Diary, which will premiere on November 20 at 9:30 pm KST.
Psychopath Diary is a new comedy-thriller about a man named Yook Dong-shik (played by Yoon Shi-yoon), a timid pushover who happens to witness a murder. While attempting to flee the scene, he suffers an accident that causes him to lose his memory. When he wakes up and discovers the murderer’s diary — which describes his crimes in detail — in his hands, Yook Dong-shik becomes convinced that he is a psychopathic serial killer.
In the video from behind the scenes of his first script reading, Yoon Shi-yoon explains the character he plays, Yook Dong-shik. He said, “I took on a role of the pushover of pushovers who thinks he is a psychopath.” He explained that his character works at a securities investment firm and is at the bottom of the social ladder. However, after going through an unusual experience that leads him to mistake himself as a psychopath, he is no longer afraid to say things that are on his mind and starts to speak for himself. Yoon Shi Yoon continues, “This is the most fun to play out of the roles I’ve played recently, but the character is also very silly. I chose it because I believed I could do something fun with it. ”
