Ennik Somi Douma was born on March 9th, 2001, in Ontario, Canada. She is known by her Korean name Jeon So-mi or mononymously as Somi, is a Korean-Canadian singer based in South Korea, best known for finishing first in Mnet’s survival reality program Produce 101 and debuting in former South Korean girl group I.O.I. She made her debut as a solo artist on June 13th, 2019, with the release of the single “Birthday.”

In January 2016, Somi represented JYPE on the reality survival program Produce 101. She finished in the first place with 858,333 votes and debuted on May 4th, with the project girl group I.O.I, soon after debuting with the EP Chrysalis under YMC Entertainment. On August 29th, Somi collaborated with I.O.I bandmates Choi Yoo-jung and Chungha and DIA’s Ki Hui-hyeon for the digital single, “Flower, Wind and You.” On February 25th, 2019, The Black Label announced Somi is preparing to make her debut as a solo artist with a lead single produced by Teddy. Her debut single “Birthday” was released on June 13th, along with its accompanying music video. She made her first music show appearance as a solo artist on MBC’s Show! Music Core on June 15th, performing both “Birthday” and “Outta My Head.”

Solo Artist Park Ji-hoon

Park Ji-hoon was born on May 29th, 1999. He is a South Korean singer and actor. He is best known as the runner-up contestant in Produce 101 Season 2 and debuting with the now-disbanded boy band Wanna One. He has established himself as a child actor notably through his participation in the musical stage Peter PanThe Harmonium in My Memory, and Radio Star. He has also appeared in the television dramas JumongThe King and IKimchi Cheese SmileIljimae. Jihoon began a solo music career in 2019 with his first extended play O’Clock.

In 2017, Jihoon represented Maroo Entertainment in the second season of Produce 101. He experienced a sudden rise in popularity after going viral as “wink boy” after the introductory “It’s Me (Pick Me)” stage on M! Countdown before the show had started airing. Consequently, Jihoon’s participation in the survival show received extensive media attention, to the extent that his self-made aegyo catchphrase “save you in my heart” trended on social media and was used by various companies employing the phrase for marketing purposes. The phrase was later crowned as the best catchphrase of 2017 by KOCCA. Furthermore, Jihoon started receiving offers from companies to become their advertisement model while the show was still being aired, and it was later revealed that Park had signed an exclusive contract with Maroo Entertainment even before the show had started. He finished second, which made him a member of the project boy band Wanna One under YMC Entertainment.

Wanna One disbanded on December 31st, 2018, and officially completed activities after their sold-out 4-day final concert series ‘Therefore’ that ran from January 24th to January 27th at the Gocheok Sky Dome. On March 26th, Jihoon released his first solo album O’Clock with the lead single “L.O.V.E.” The same month, Jihoon was cast in JTBC’s upcoming historical drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency.

CIX Bae Jin-young

Bae Jin-young was born on May 10th, 2000. He is a South Korean singer and a member of the South Korean boy band CIX. He was a former member of the boy band Wanna One after finishing tenth in Produce 101 Season 2 and active promotions for two years before the disbandment in January 2019.

Jinyoung participated in the South Korean boy band survival show Produce 101 Season 2, which aired on Mnet from April 7th to June 16th, 2017. In the final episode, Jinyoung was ranked 10th and therefore became a member of the project boy band Wanna One under YMC Entertainment. Jinyoung officially debuted with Wanna One during Wanna One Premier Show-Con on August 7th, 2017, at the Gocheok Sky Dome with the mini-album 1×1=1 (To Be One). Jinyoung made his final appearance as a Wanna One member in their final concerts, titled “Therefore”, held across four days, ending on January 27th, 2019, at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, where the group held their debut showcase. Following the disbandment of Wanna One, Jinyoung took a four-month break before debuting as a solo artist on April 26th. His single album, Hard To Say Goodbye, peaked at no.3 at the Gaon Album Chart.

Solo Artist Yoon Ji-sung

Yoon Ji-sung was born on March 8th, 1991. He is a South Korean singer and actor. He finished 8th in the second series of Produce 101, where he became a member of the winning project group Wanna One and debuted on August 7th, 2017. He actively promoted for one and a half years with Wanna One before the group officially disbanded on December 31st, 2018. Following the disbandment, Yoon Ji-sung established his career as a solo artist with the release of his EP Aside on February 20th, 2019. He released a digital single ‘Winter, Flower” (동,화) on May 19th, 2019, as a gift for his fans, after his enlistment as an active-duty soldier on May 14th, 2019. The song was composed by and gifted to Yoon Ji-sung by Korean indie singer Coffee Boy.

Entertainer Ong Seung-wu

Ong Seong-wu was born on August 25th, 1995. He is a South Korean singer and actor. He is known for his participation in the survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2, where he finished in the fifth place, and is a former member of the show’s derivative boy group Wanna One.

Ong Seong-wu participated in Produce 101 (season 2). In the finale, he finished in the fifth place with 984,756 votes, securing him a spot as a member of Wanna One. His contract with Wanna One ended on December 31st, 2018, however, he continued to appear with the group until its official farewell concerts on January 24–27, 2019.

Upon conclusion of his activities with Wanna One, Ong Seong-wu embarked on his first solo fan meeting tour, titled “Eternity”, spanning 3 cities in March and April 2019. On March 7th, 2019, he was also named PR Ambassador of the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education. On May 26th, 2019, it was announced that Ong Seong-wu would be releasing a new single as part of Pepsi and Starship Entertainment’s “2019 Pepsi K-Pop Collab Project.” The single, “Heart Sign” was released on June 11th. Ong Seong-wu also went on to make his drama debut later in the year. He was cast as the male lead in JTBC’s youth drama Moment at Eighteen, alongside Kim Hyang-gi and Shin Seung-ho. The drama began airing on July 22nd, 2019.
