Everything You Should Know More About Chinese-Thailand K-Pop Idols Who Made His Debut In Three Contries: Lucas Wong
Who doesn’t know NCT? NCT is a boy group from SM Entertainment which has several units including NCT 127, NCT Dream, NCT U, and WayV. Lucas himself is a member of the NCT’s Chinese unit, WayV, but you can also meet him in the NCT U unit for their single entitled Yestoday and Boss. Lucas was very famous even before he officially debuted as an artist under SM Entertainment. This unique character that makes him really easy to recognize.
Wong Yuk Hei, Huang Xuxi or Lucas Wong was born on January 25, 1999, in Hong Kong, China. He is a Thai-Chinese singer under the SM Entertainment contract. Lucas Passed SM Global Audtion in Hong Kong as a model, then he was incorporated into SM Rookies in 2017 and starred in his partner’s MV ‘Dream In A Dream’ by NCT’s or WayV’s Ten. Lucas first debuted in South Korea as a member of NCT U on February 18, 2018, then he re-debuted as a member of WayV, the Chinese unit of the boy group NCT on January 17, 2019 by releasing the ‘Regular’ Chinese version of the song belonging to NCT 127 with the title the same one.
Then on October 4, 2019, Lucas re-debuted as a member of SuperM in the United States with the release of a single titled ‘Jopping’. This group is a Korean pop supergroup formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment and Capitol Music Group. The group consists of seven members from four different boy groups, including Taemin from SHINee, Baekhyun and Kai from EXO, and Taeyong and Mark from NCT 127, and Ten and Lucas from WayV (NCT’s Chinese subunit).

Lucas Wong Pre-Debut
Before joining SM Entertainment, a netizen shared an interesting video clip on a Twitter account related to Lucas. It appears that Lucas attended the Kim So-Hyun’s fansign event held in Hong Kong before he became a trainee at SM Entertainment. In the video, the 1999-born idol is seen wearing a short blue shirt. He looked shyly saying hello and giving a gift to Kim So-Hyun. He waits for the signature of actress Kim So-hyun before she finally leaves.
