On his birthday, May 21st, Aron conducted a VLIVE broadcast while taking a rest at home with his pet dogs, Noah and Kkotsooni. Fans sent him happy-birthday wishes through real-time comments and Aron had a meaningful birthday while lying down and talking about the daily life with fans.
Ren’s “Cafe and Busking Event”
The youngest member of Nu’est, Ren’s birthday this year has not come yet, but as other members have their own way of spending their birthday with fans, he also has his own way of repaying the fans’ love on his special day.
On November 3rd, 2018, NU’EST’s Ren celebrated his birthday and his fans had specially prepared event cupholders of various cafes to celebrate his special day. The fan-organized event is a program that fans signed a contract in advance with the coffee shops to distribute handmade cup holders in a specific time frame.
Ren thoroughly showed his appreciation for his fans and he personally went down to the cafes to get the cupholders himself. He then uploaded a picture of the cupholders he managed to collect on his personal Instagram account. He was really grateful for what LOVEs have done for him.
Min-hyun’s Birthday Celebration
August 9th, 2019, was marked as NU’EST’s Minhyun’s 24th birthday. To celebrate his birthday, he held a special busking event for his fans called “Sweet Music Box.” He had his own way to inform his fans about the surprise event where he took to his personal Instagram and posted a special invitation for fans to come to his outdoor busking event titled “Minhyun’s Sweet Music Box.”

Through the video that he uploaded on his Instagram, he shared the invitation to his fans, “Hello. This is NU’EST’s Minhyun. Thank you for wishing me a happy birthday today! So I’ve prepared a gift for you as well. Today at 6 PM!! I will be waiting here to meet you all. See you soon~~” He also added a map to share the event’s location.
The busking event was held at the Seoul Children’s Grand Park, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Despite the heavy rain that day and the event was announced only a couple of hours before the show began, but still, a lot of fans attended and celebrated Minhyun’s special day. There were about 3.500 fans gathered together to watch his performance.
Performance
In front of about 3,500 fans, Minhyun performed the duet song “Daybreak” (which was originally performed with JR) and the solo song “Universe.” He also performed other songs such as “Every day, Every Moment” by Paul Kim and “Little Star” by Standing Egg.
Latest News About NU’EST
Early this year, Nu’est made their much-anticipated comeback with five members. Since 2017, they have been promoting as four members with the group’s subunit Nu’est W. It was because one of their members, Minhyun, had to stop for a while from Nu’est activities and promote exclusively with Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2 project group Wanna One until the group’s disbandment at the end of 2018.
On April 9th, 2019, the group released their sixth mini-album Happily Ever After along with the music video for the title track “Bet Bet.”
After the successful release of their latest new album, Nu’est now is busy with their overseas concert, “Segno” Tour until September.
Their concert “Segno” was first held for three days from April 12th to April 14th at KSPO Dome in Seoul. The concert in Bangkok was held on July 20th and July 21st at Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani. The Jakarta concert took place on August 3rd, at Istora Senayan. On August 24th, the concert in Singapore was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The Manila concert will be held on August 31st at Araneta Coliseum. The Kuala Lumpur concert will be held on September 7th, at Malawati Indoor Stadium, Shah Alam. The Taipei concert will be held on September 14th, at Xinzhuang Gymnasium.
