OMEGA X Taedong Pre-Debut on Mnet Produce 101 Season 2
Kim Tae-dong participated as a contestant while a trainee under The Vibble (currently Major 9). He was known as one of the contestants from Produce 101: Season 2 with very good proportions. In March 2021, OMEGA X’s Taedong announced that he was revealed as a member of OMEGA X. Omega X consists of 11 members with Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Zen, Jehyun, Kevin, Junghoon, Hyuk, and Yechan. The group held an online and offline showcase to commemorate the release of its debut album VAMOS on June 30, 2021.
The team’s name, Omega X, is a combination of the last letter of the Greek alphabet, omega (Ω), meaning a new beginning and dream, and X, a symbol with a meaning of infinite love and hope.
