Park Ji-yeon, more commonly known as Jiyeon, is one of the singers and actresses known for their popularity through the legendary girl group T-Ara under MBK Entertainment. Jiyeon was born on June 7, 1993 in Seoul, South Korea. Before her debut with T-Ara, at first she and Hahm Eun-jung were two members of T-Ara who were trained to become actresses. However, both of them turned to singing from their original intentions.
Jiyeon auditioned at Mnet Casting System, and joined the company in 2008. She debuted as a T-Ara member on July 29, 2009. In T-Ara, she played the roles of the youngest member and main dancer. In 2010, Jiyeon appeared in Master of Study, a Korean screen adaptation of the Japanese manga, Dragon Zakura. In 2018, T-Ara’s Jiyeon decided to leave the agency that had raised her name and not renew her contract with MBK Entertainment. About Senpass
Jiyeon’s second solo mini album was titled SENPASS, which is a combination of the words “sense” and “compass”. SENPASS itself expresses the thought that inner feelings are like a compass in life.
The album has only one version, with the main song being ‘Take a Hike,’ which is a hip hop song with a strong rhythm, and conveys the message that you must live for yourself as your own queen. This album was released on December 26, 2019, along with the music video for ‘Take a Hike.’
The song ‘Take A Hike’ was produced by Ryan S Jhun, who has also produced popular songs such as Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon’s ‘I’, ‘View’ by SHINee, and ‘Love Me Right,’ popularized by EXO.

Comeback Schedule
In November 2019, Jiyeon’s agency confirmed that she would soon have a solo comeback on December 26, 2019, with the release of a mini album. That was Jiyeon’s first solo comeback after leaving MBK Entertainment and joining Longzhen Culture Development.

On December 24, 2019, Jiyeon released a teaser photo that presented herself in a sexy black lingerie dress in a purple room. Jiyeon also seemed to unravel her long, white hair and pose staring intently at the camera. On December 26, 2019, at 6 pm Korean Time (KST), Jiyeon officially released her solo music video entitled ‘Take A Hike,’ and it marks Jiyeon’s official comeback. ‘Take A Hike’ is the title song of her second album, SENPASS, produced by Ryan Jhun, Michael James Down, and William Taylor.
