It is not secret that BTS’s V and Park Seo Joon are best friend for life. They met on the set of Hwarang, a 2016 drama full of promising and good-looking young actors. They are still going strong from then on, showing their enviable friendship goals frequently. Not only the two of them, V and Seo Joon have their own small gang with actor Choi Woo Shik, Park Hyung Sik, and singer Peakboy being the other members.
Well, let’s take a look back to the moments when Park Seo Joon and V proved their love for each other – and the other gang member as well!
They decided to have a joint birthday celebration
Park Seo Joon and V had their birthday on December 16th and 30th, respectively. Their gang doesn’t seem to want to waste money with two separate celebration and decided to have a joint celebration instead! In 2018, they picked December 20th as the day to celebrate their birthday. Of course, they spent time with other squad members of the gang.
Going on vacation along with the gang
These two handsome guys often go to vacation together when they’re on break. They were spotted a few times spending time together with their small circles. V, Park Seo Joon, and Park Hyung Shik even spent their holiday to visit and stay in Seo Joon’s parents’ home.
In summer 2019, Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy joined V’s summer vacation where they swim and jamming in the car together, as uploaded through Big Hit Entertainment official YouTube channel. Unfortunately, Park Hyung Shik were unable to join them, but they hilariously photoshopped him so that he wasn’t left out.
The coffee truck they sent each other
Sending coffee truck becomes a part of the culture in Korea to show love to a celebrity. V joined the bandwagon when he sent coffee truck to Park Seo Joon when he shoots a drama. He also sent one to Park Hyung Shik to his filming location.
One time, V expressed his jealousy toward bandmate Jungkook who received coffee truck form actor Yeo Jin Goo when they held fan meeting in Busan. Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Shik, Choi Woo Shik, and Peakboy then joined forces to send a huge coffee truck to their youngest member with a hilarious message during BTS anniversary celebration.
Attending the movie premier and screening
Park Seo Joon is a blossoming actor with many works under his belt. Every time he releases a new movie, V never forget to show his support. When his Midnight Runners movie came out, V attended the VIP event together with other Hwarang casts including Choi Minho of SHINee. V went extra miles when he told reporters that he was a huge fan of Park Seo Joon!
Similar thing happened in 2019 when Park Seo Joon had a screening for his latest movie The Divine Fury. V came together with Choi Woo Shik to support him and mentioned how they always support each other’s work.
When BTS release new song
BTS comeback through Map Of The Soul: Persona in April 2019 was very much celebrated by Park Seo Joon, proving that he was an ARMY himself. He uploaded a picture of their new album, captioned why did V need his support when BTS is already famous worldwide. He also jokingly wrote that his hands got sweaty due to nervousness in completing the request of a BTS member.

Never forget you other friends when they’re not together with you. During the 32th Golden Disk Awards held in January 2018, Park Hyung Sik and V (both are members of different boy groups) met backstage. They didn’t forget to give a call to Park Seo Joon who didn’t attend the event, where BTS performed and Park Hyung Sik was the award presenter. Their cute interactions was shared by the latter via social media.
Park Hyung Sik also explained the reason why the called Park Seo Joon, it was because he didn’t like to be left out!
Even makes other BTS members jealous!
The intimate friendship between V, Park Seo Joon, and their squad draw jealousy from BTS members. During their appearance in 2017 Show Champion. Jin and Jimin protested how V always wrote passionate messages to the group chat while never doing so to BTS members. V then revealed that Park Seo Joon as the eldest member of the group always convey love messages first so he had to reply it.
Presenting award for BTS
2019’s Mnet Music Awards or the MMA was very special to BTS since they win 4 major awards, but even more special for V because he had the award presented by his loving best friend, Park Seo Joon! He gave the Artist of the Year award while the other best friend Choi Woo Shik presented Record of the Year. Their cute interaction can also be seen during BTS speech, where both didn’t seem to be able to contain themselves from laughing when their eyes met each other’s!
Showing support to BTS concert
Showing support to V wouldn’t be completed without attending BTS concert. BTS is the biggest boy group in Korea who cause global phenomenon in recent years, and Park Seo Joon was very much aware of the fact.
He was seen attending the finale show of BTS in December 2017 along with Park Hyung Shik. In fact, many A-list celebrities were seen at the 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wing’s Tour The Final. Park Bo Gum, Ha Ji Won, and Girls’ Generation’s Yoona were among the attendants as well. After the concert, V shared a snapshot that proved the support of his two best friends.
Singing the OST when your best friend starred in a drama
V’s love for Park Seo Joon are validated earlier this year when he sang OST for the latter’s hit drama, Itaewon Class. The song was titles Sweet Night and V expressed how happy he was to be a part of the project and showing support to his friend.
How can one not feel jealous seeing all the friendship goals moment V and Park Seo Joon shared with their squad? We couldn’t help but wish to find our own Park Seo Joon and V someday.
