Ailee Blew Away the Audience of Singer and Trainee
After her rising popularity as the golden voice vocalist on the internet, Ailee appeared as the contestant of MBC’s Chuseok special program Singer and Trainee. Along with singer Wheesung, Ailee sang Usher and Alicia Keys’ My Boo. Her singing and brief rapping performance received the judges’ praises, “Her singing ability is top notch” and “She will be a great star wherever she goes”.

Not only duet with Wheesung, but Ailee also became a hot issue after singing Soon Ee’s Night by Night and Beyonce’s Halo which secured her the first rank on the show. In addition, Ailee rose in the top search on various Korean search engines and portals and gained the attention of singer Kim Bum-soo who posted a link of her Halo performance along with a message that read, “Korea does not seem to be too far away from producing a world-class singer”.

As one of the grand vocalists in the current Korean music industry, Ailee must have performed not only in music shows and off-air events but also on her own concert as a solo singer. Ailee’s U.S Debut
Recognized as a Korean who grew up in America prior to her debut, Ailee finally ventured as a foreign soloist in America. In early January 2017, the news outlets reported that Ailee will make her second debut in the United States of America with a new stage name ‘A.Leean’. She has been signed under WestSide Entertainment, a music label and management company based in Los Angeles which managed worldwide singers Nelly and Keyshia Cole. The agency revealed a teaser image that said ‘Famous singer, new alias’, implying Ailee’s new stage name for her America advancement.
A.Leean’s debut track Fall Back was released on January 7 on several music platforms, such as iTunes, Spotify, Google Play Music, Amazon Music, and radio stations. A representative of A.Leean said that rather the already established name and brand, A.Leean will showcase her breathtaking voice and talent through her debut track which you can listen through the video below.
