It is public knowledge that South Korea’s celebrities are frequently judged for having plastic surgery. The same thing applies to Ailee who is often told by the netizens to have changed her facial features. The singer has denied the accusation by venting out her frustration about the matter in her Instagram, stating that her uneven double eyelids remained the same and adding some hashtags #notplasticsurgery, #theyarelivingtheirownlives, and #flaws, assuring the public that her eyes get small and big when they are swollen.

Even so, the netizens did not believe Ailee’s claim as some of them think that the singer’s current face looks more like BLACKPINK’s Jennie. Back in December 2014, Ailee also shut down the plastic surgery rumor during her appearance on MBC’s One Fine Day. A student who became the audience of the show asked how did Ailee get so pretty, which someone replied loudly that it is due to surgery. The accusation certainly made Ailee taken aback, but she could get over it by saying that the students can touch her face to prove that she did not get any surgery. Eventually, the MC of the show Lee Dong-yeob stopped the student’s action before it was gotten out of hand.
Contrary to Ailee’s claim, we believe that the singer indeed got some work done on her face. As you can see in two pictures above, Ailee did a nose job to make her nose sharper and more ideal. In addition, Ailee may have received a chin implant in order to make her facial shape slimmer.
