Kim Min Seok’s Rise With KBS Drama ‘Descendants Of The Sun’
Descendants of the Sun is a South Korean television series starring famous Korean actors and actresses as the lead roles, such as Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo, Kim Ji Won, and Jin Goo. The series was a major hit in South Korea and was named the Most Popular Show of the Year by the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation. The show was broadcast across Asia, where it was hugely popular, and has been credited with a rise in tourism in Korea.
Actor Kim Min Seok is one of the cast of Descendants of the Sun. He played the role of Private First Class Kim Gi-bum in the Tae Baek Army (later promoted to Staff Sergeant as seen in ep 16), a pickpocket who later enlisted in the army.
