Latest News About Daesung
Although last year was not a good year for BIG BANG due to a lot of controversies that resulted in Seungri leaving the group and retiring from the industry, the rest 4 members of BIG BANG decided to keep renewing their contract with the company who has managed them since their debut, YG Entertainment. After 2011 and 2015, this will be the third time that all the members renewing their contract with YG Entertainment.
The official statement was released on March 11, 2020, by YG Entertainment
“Big Bang members G-Dragon, Taeyang, T.O.P, and Daesung have renewed their exclusive contracts.”
YG Entertainment also stated,
“Big Bang is a group which has surpassed the limitations of music alone, changing the very flow of South Korea’s popular culture. We will support Big Bang in all areas so that they can continue to contribute to the history of K-Pop as YG Entertainment’s most representative artists.”
We can wait for Daesung, G-dragon, Taeyang, and T.O.P’s return to the music scene!
