Get Closer to South Korean Girl-Group ‘HELLO VENUS’
Hello Venus is a South Korean girl-group under Fantiago Entertainment. This group has six members, Alice, Nara, Lime, Yooyoung, Seoyoung, and Yeoreum. They debuted on May 9, 2012, with the mini album titled ‘Venus’. In June, they returned with a new song, Like a Wave, which was a repackaging of their first mini album. Then, in November, 2012, Hello Venus had a comeback with their second mini album, ‘What Are You Doing Today?’.
Their third mini album, ‘Would You Stay For Tea?’, was released on May 2, 2013. One year inaudible, Hello Venus actually lost two of its original members, Yoo Ara & Yoonjo. They returned to their agency, Pledis Entertainment. After losing two of the original members, Hello Venus planned a comeback and introduced two new members. They also launched a single titled Sticky Sticky on November 6, 2014, introducing Seoyoung & Yeoreum.
Hello Venus released their newest single, Wiggle Wiggle, which was released on January 6, 2015. In Korea, a lot of the girl-groups comeback in the summer. Not wanting to miss out, Hello Venus also enlivened the summer with their latest song, I’m Ill, which was part of the mini album they released on June 22, 2015.
In early May, 2016, Fantagio Entertainment announced that Hello Venus would comeback with their newest digital single, collaborating with Devine Channel. The single was titled Glow and was released on May 10, 2016. Then, on July 18, Hello Venus released a second single, Paradise. Paradise was another collaboration with Devine Channel for the release of the single. The final single collaboration with Devine was titled Runaway, and was officially launched on November 1.
On December 29, 2016, it was reported that Hello Venus was preparing for their latest album in early 2017. The new mini album was titled ‘Mystery of Venus’, and was officially launched on January 11, with the lead single Mysterious.

Reason Why Yoo A-ra and Yoonjo Leaves Hello Venus!
Hello Venus lost two of its members, namely Yoo A-ra and Yoonjo.
As fans know, Hello Venus is a girl-group jointly formed by two agencies, Pledis and Fantagio. Both agencies finally decided to end the project, so that Yoo A-ra and Yoonjo had to return to Pledis Entertainment, and the other four members, Lime, Alice, Nara and Yooyung also returned to their agency, Fantagio.
This was announced directly by the agencies through the official Hello Venus cafe, July 31, 2014. They apologized and gave thanks for the support that fans had provided so far, they also requested that the fans continue to support each member even though they have now split up. On July 31, the agency Tricell Media announced through the official fancafe:
“Fantagio and Pledis decided to complete the Hello Venus collaboration project under Tricell Media.” Tricell Media continued, “Fantagio and Pledis would like to thank six members for bringing Hello Venus to their current position, and they will give full support for promotions in the future of the members.”
“Yoo a-ra and Yoonjo are preparing the project as singers and actresses, while Alice, Nara, Rhyme and Yooyoung will continue acting and release albums as Hello Venus,” he added.
“We want to apologize to the fans for releasing this news so suddenly, but we hope they will understand that this will be very helpful for the future of the members. Please continue your support for six members.”
Lime, Alice, Nara and Yooyung continued their promotion as Hello Venus under the auspices of Fantagio. While Yoo A-ra and Yoonjo continued their careers as soloists, and carry out their individual activities such as solo debuts or becoming actresses and models.
