Chaeyeon in K-Pop Star 3
K-Pop Star is a survival show with the main theme of searching for the next idols. The judges were the famous Yang Hyun-suk from YG, Park Jin-young from JYP, and You Hee-yeol from Antenna Music. The third season was aired from November 2013 until April 2014, and in this season, the Chae sisters Lee Chae-yeon and Lee Chae-ryeong participated.
They both automatically got the attention of the viewers, as they looked really alike and had amazing dancing skills. Below is the clip from their performance:
Netizens said that Chaeyeon had a stronger character than Chaeryeong, and she suits the YG image so much, while Chaeryeong is more suitable for JYP. Although their dancing skills are something else, they couldn’t make it until the live stage and had to leave the show.
Luckily, their struggle in the show brought them another luck as they both were cast by JYP! He was so mesmerized with their dancing talent, but he said that their singing ability wasn’t good enough at the time so they should be trained more.
