Kim Feel From a Former Contestant of Super Star K6 To a Solo Artist
Kim Feel is a rising star from the talent show Super Star K6. On this talent program, he competed against Kwak Jin-eon, Burstered, Brian Park, Song Yu-bin, Foxstar, Lee Jun-hee, Lee Hae-na, Lim Do-hyeok, Jang Woo-ram, and MICA. After finishing as a runner up on this show, he made use of this opportunity to become a solo artist expanding his music. Kim Feel launched his first EP titled Feel Free, this song would be his introduction as a musician to the universe. During his participation in Super Star K6, he only sang cover songs. So, Kim Feel felt excited to finally appear on the stage with his own song which has a story about himself and shows the kind of music he is passionate about.
Kim Feel revealed that his first song “Feel Free” was written by himself. He said that he avoided showing up in public to prepare and write this song. He said that he wants to pursue vogue sound, but sill has sincerity of folk lyrics. Moreover, his album offered various types of music that could be out in the air such as electro-pop and funk soul. He felt grateful for the opportunity that opened for him by taking part in Super Star K6 and brought him into his original music career he is admired for.
