Sub-unit GUGUDAN SeMiNa
On June 26, 2018, there is a rumors around an online communities that Gugudan will make a subunit soon as the screen capture from Recording Industry Association of Korea website has proceed an upcoming new albums from Gugudan‘s SEMINA‘s 1st single album titled SEMINA.
On June 28, 2018, Jellyfish Entertainment released the MV teaser along with the image teaser of each members, Kim Na-young, Kim Se-jeong and Kang Mina. Their individual image teasers have 5 for each members and they looked so pretty with the colorful concept as well.
On July 10, 2018, the sub-unit from Gugudan, SEMINA, released their debut music video while the song concept is about a dance track which filled with bright energy in summer vibes! The 3 members of Gugudan really shows off their charms in this unit and gained many attention from public as a sub-unit.

On July 10, 2018, SEMINA held their debut showcase while talked about the songs and their unit concept. Kim Na-young as the eldest of the sub-unit explained the concept for the new album is actually a definition of “Funky Diva” which showed 3 different personalities and unique vocal from each members.
The filming for their music video was located in Bali, Indonesia, and Kim Na-young shared her experience to feel the summer vibes in Bali. The vocalist of the group, Kim Na-young, said that the weather was much hotter than in Korea but she was thankful to Bali’s beautiful scenery that the filming goes well and the members are satisfied.
While promoted as a member of SEMINA, Kim Na-young, did a magazine photoshoot for Maire Claire along with the other members, Kim Se-jeong and Mina. They wear a casual looks with an over-sized blazer and tops with trousers and sneakers.
